The All-Clad Copper-Core 2-quart saute pan has straight sides to keep food from sliding out and prevent spattering, and a perfectly flat bottom to slide easily across a burner.  The classic saute pan is designed for shaking and tossing food as it cooks. It also can be used for frying or braising.

At the heart of this All-Clad design is a core of pure copper, which runs along the bottom and up the sidewalls. The copper core allows for rapid, even heating with no hot spots, and the easy-to-clean, stainless steel cooking surface resists sticking. Rolled edges help prevent dripping when transferring contents and also provide a perfect fit with lids to help lock in flavor and heat. Permanently attached with stainless steel rivets, the long, stay-cool, stainless steel handle provides excellent balance.
 

The All-Clad Copper-Core collection offers a thick copper core that is surrounded by two layers of aluminum. This allows for superb heat conductivity as well as an even heat distribution so you won't have "hot spots" when cooking.
